Hey! Thanks for flagging this. There's a known UI quirk in the Files section that trips people up — there are actually two "Create Folder" buttons:

• The top green button creates a folder at the root level, outside your current location
• The lower "Create Folder" button (within the folder view itself) creates a subfolder inside the folder you're currently in

To create a folder inside the Shared LP data room, navigate into that folder first, then use the lower "Create Folder" button within that view.
